How to delete your account
You can delete your account yourself in the app. Your personal data is deleted under the PDPA within 30 days and can't be recovered.
- Open ZaabDrama and go to the Profile tab
- Scroll down to More
- Tap Delete Account and confirm
Frequently asked questions
Why are some episodes locked?
The first episodes of each series are free. After that, you can unlock episodes in 4 ways: spend coins, watch a short ad (up to 5 episodes a day), unlock the whole series at a special discount, or subscribe to VIP. Unlocked episodes can be rewatched anytime.
Will I lose my coins if I switch phones?
No, as long as you sign in with the same account. Your coins, history and My List are tied to your account, not your device. (Guest accounts are tied to the device, so sign in before you buy.)
Changing subtitles or playback speed
Long-press the video to open the menu, then choose "Subtitles & translation" or a speed from 0.5× to 2×. Set your defaults in Profile → Subtitles & Audio. Subtitles labeled "AI translated" haven't been reviewed by our translators yet.
How do I cancel VIP?
Go to iPhone Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → ZaabDrama → Cancel Subscription. You keep VIP until the end of the period you paid for. Cancel at least 24 hours before the next period to avoid being charged.
Can I get a refund?
All payments go through the App Store, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Once Apple approves, any unused coins from that purchase are deducted automatically.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Profile → More → Delete Account. Your personal data will be deleted under the PDPA within 30 days and can't be recovered. If you have a VIP subscription, cancel it in the App Store first.
I want to publish a series on ZaabDrama
Creators use ZaabDrama Creator Studio on the web to upload episodes, add subtitles, set prices, view stats and withdraw earnings. If you're already a member of a channel, you'll see a "My Channel" card on your Profile with a button to open Studio. Interested in starting a new channel? Just contact our team.
